Bilbao, July 2025 , Five Infinitum is proud to announce the launch of its second large-scale digital infrastructure project in Spain, FI_BBO_01, a state-of-the-art data center that strengthens the company’s position as a pan-European platform for high-capacity, sustainable, and urban digital infrastructure.
The project will be located in the Euskadi Technology Park – Abanto Campus, in the northern metropolitan area of Bilbao, at the heart of the Basque Country, a region emerging as a strategic hub for the digital economy in southern Europe.
FI_BBO_01 already has land and power secured. The facility will be developed on a buildable area of 41,000 sqm, with 30 MW of initial electrical capacity and the ability to scale up to 60 MW, making it one of the most significant developments in northern Spain.
The project is currently undergoing environmental and construction permitting, with construction scheduled to start in Q4 2026 and operations expected in Q3 2028.
